Mike Baldwin

Hi there and welcome to my personal website. I created this to showcase some, but not all, of my sketches, watercolours and perhaps a few photos here and there.

I am actually a qualified chemist from the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries in the UK and Europe, who later in life ended up redundant and living with my beautiful wife Ania in Częstochowa in south-central Poland.

Ania actually has a great artistic imagination and makes all sorts of cards, invitations and photograph albums. It was on one training weekend when I accompanied her and was taking part for fun in 2017 we were asked to paint a ‘Disneyesque’ mushroom. Mine was a little to realistic so our trainer Anna Komenda asked me to do it again but make it more realistic. The image to the right is what came out of this exercise, so as it says on my Instagram page (@gallery42200) and with many thanks to both the Anias in my life…..
